The CUMC Prayer Ministry is for Christians that love prayer and want to have an active prayer life to grow closer to our Lord. Prayer ministry members receive frequent E-mail prayer requests for ongoing needs of our church members and they respond by praying for those needs for several weeks. Some ministry team members meet at scheduled times at the church for prayer and send cards to share the love of Jesus with those in need. Other ministry team members pray for our worship service on Sunday prior to the start and help make CUMC a true House of Prayer by helping to plan prayer vigils or other prayer events.
